🏆✨ UIBC Honors the World Baker and World Confectioner of the Year 2026 at the Gala Dinner in Singapore

On 14 July 2026, the international baking and confectionery community gathered in Singapore for one of the highlights of the UIBC Congress 2026: the Gala Dinner and the presentation of the prestigious UIBC awards.

During the evening, UIBC proudly honored outstanding achievements in the baking and confectionery professions by presenting the titles of UIBC World Baker of the Year 2026 and UIBC World Confectioner of the Year 2026.

The title of UIBC World Baker of the Year 2026 was awarded to João Butske from Brazil in recognition of exceptional dedication, craftsmanship and contribution to the bakery profession.

The award for UIBC World Confectioner of the Year 2026 was presented to Benoît Castel from France, celebrating remarkable achievements, creativity and commitment to excellence in the field of confectionery.

The awards recognize professionals whose work has made a significant impact on the industry and who continue to inspire colleagues and future generations around the world.
