UIBC World Bakers and Confectioners of the Year


UIBC Medals of Honor
The UIBC Medal of Honor is awarded to a person or institution outside the baking or pastry sectors who has achieved world-class excellence in their work for the benefit of bakers and pastry chefs. Approval to award the UIBC Medal of Honor must be requested in writing to the Office of the Secretary General, detailing the services achieved and the individual or institution. The Presidium must approve the award.
UIBC Badges of Honor
Approval must be requested in writing from the Office of the Secretary-General, detailing the services achieved, the unique merits, and the individual or institution. The Presidium must approve the award, and Congress must confirm this approval.
Honorary Presidents
UIBC Presidents will be proclaimed Honorary Presidents by the Congress once their term of office has ended, and will have the right to participate in Congress meetings for life, in an advisory capacity, without the right to vote. In addition, once proclaimed Honorary President, the outgoing President will also have the right to participate in Presidium meetings, without the right to vote, during the term of office of their successor. Honorary Presidents will receive a necklace symbolizing baking and pastry making.

Golden Badge of Honor
Silver Badge of Honor
National associations have the right to award the UIBC Silver Badge of Honor at their own discretion to important people or Associations from their own country. The Silver Badge of Honor and a certificate can be requested from the Office of the Secretary General in exchange for a fee.
UIBC Delegates having attended at least 3 Congress meetings are presented this Award.
