🥖 Let’s go for the 2025 World Baker and World Confectioner titles!

Once again, the UIBC (International Union of Bakers and Confectioners) opens the call to select two of the industry's top people: the UIBC 2025 World Baker and World Confectioner of the Year 2025.


This international recognition is awarded to professionals whose careers represent the very best of the craft. Nominees must not only be highly respected in their home countries, but also stand out for their commitment to education, innovation, marketing, and active participation in international competitions.


The responsibility for submitting nominations lies with the UIBC member associations, who may send in their proposals. This is a unique opportunity to shine a spotlight on those who work tirelessly to raise the standards of baking and pastry worldwide.


The winners will be announced during the Gala Dinner of the UIBC World Congress 2025, to be held in July in São Paulo. There, they will not only receive this prestigious award, which enables them to join the UIBC Select Club—an exclusive community made up of those who have left a lasting mark on the industry— in the following year.


This award is more than just a prize. It’s a tribute to talent, dedication, and a true love for the art of baking. Who will join the select group in 2025? We’ll find out very soon.
