During the emotional Gala Dinner of the UIBC Congress 2025, held this month in São Paulo, the prestigious UIBC awards were presented to two of the most outstanding professionals in the global baking and confectionery world.
The title of UIBC World Baker of the Year 2025 was awarded to José Roldán Triviño, Spanish master baker and captain of the Spanish National Artisan Baking Team (CEOPPAN). His talent, international career, and strong commitment to education have made him one of the most respected figures in the industry.
Meanwhile, the title of UIBC World Confectioner of the Year 2025 was awarded to Joanne Huang, from Singapore. With a career defined by technical excellence and artistic innovation, Joanne represents a new generation of pastry chefs who blend tradition and modernity with remarkable sensitivity.
Both professionals received their awards in a heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by colleagues from around the world and warmly celebrated by the international baking and confectionery community.
